A common struggle for most women is the lack of sufficient time to dedicate to skincare. Amidst the hustle and bustle of daily chores and work, finding time specifically for skin care becomes nearly impossible. Consequently, the skin gradually begins to look dull and lackluster, and a buildup of dead skin cells starts to occur. Some women even face issues such as pigmentation or acne.
Often, areas like the forehead, the region around the lips, and the skin near the eyes begin to appear darkened or discolored. The skin tone loses its uniformity. If you are experiencing any of these issues, try the incredibly simple remedy described below. If performed consistently just once a week for a few weeks this remedy can bring about a remarkable improvement in your skin's condition.
A Simple Home Remedy to Reduce Pigmentation, Dark Spots, and Acne
To perform this remedy, begin by taking a small amount of raw milk and using it to thoroughly massage your face. Continue massaging for 2 to 3 minutes. After allowing it to sit for another 5 to 6 minutes, wash your face clean. This process effectively removes dust, dirt, and impurities accumulated on the skin. Following this, gently rub an ice cube over your skin or immerse your face in ice-cold water for a few seconds.
Next, mix yogurt (curd) with licorice root powder (Jesthamadh) and apply the mixture to your skin. Using very gentle strokes, massage it in for about half a minute. Then, after letting it sit for approximately 2 minutes, wash your face. Do not allow your skin to dry out completely after applying this pack.
Keep sprinkling water on your face to keep it moist. Finally, wash your face once more, and again, either rub an ice cube over your skin or immerse your face in ice-cold water for a few seconds.
The third and final step involves gently tapping your face with your fingertips for 5 minutes, followed by practicing Sheetali Pranayama (cooling breath exercise) for 2 minutes. Finally, apply a paste made by mixing tomato juice with fresh aloe vera pulp onto your face. After 10 minutes, wash your face and moisturize. You will notice a significant improvement in your skin.
