Aaditya Thackeray, Maharashtra tourism minister, has reacted to the celebs opening on the ongoing protest by farmers. Bollywood celebrities Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Suniel Shetty and a few others also opened up on the ongoing protest by farmers on Wednesday.

The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement, saying: "Before rushing to comment on such matters, we would urge that the facts be ascertained, and a proper understanding of the issues at hand be undertaken. The temptation of sensationalist social media hashtags and comments, especially when resorted to by celebrities and others, is neither accurate nor responsible."

"Let anyone in the world tweet. But why is the central government silent on the farmers protest? Isn't it their responsibility to solve the problem?" Thackeray was speaking in Mumbai while inaugurating Miyawaki Forest Park at Chembur.

"Let anyone in the world tweet anything. That's not the point. But why is the central government silent on the farmers' movement? I saw photos of the Delhi border and I was shocked. Is the Delhi border the Chinese border? How do you build walls to block farmers?" The attack was made by Aditya Thackeray.
