The election for the post of Deputy Mayor of Pune Municipal Corporation will be taking place on April 6. This election will be held online. Maha Vikas Aaghadi will once again face BJP on during this election. Sunita Vadekar from BJP and RPI is in the fray. Lata Rajguru of Congress has filed an application from Mahavikas Aghadi.

Pune Municipal Corporation has a total strength of 164 corporators. The BJP has the highest number of 99 corporators. Therefore, the victory of the BJP is considered certain.

But aftre facing defeat in Sangli and Jalgaon, BJP is now taking cautious steps. In Sangli, NCP' Jayant Patil won the mayoral election. In Jalgaon, Shiv Sena defeated BJP.

Therefore, it will be important to see if Ajit Pawar does any magic in Pune Municipal Corporation.
