Air India to repatriate Israeli nationals via special flight

National carrier Air India will repatriate over 300 Israeli nationals via a special flight.

Mumbai, March 25 National carrier Air India will repatriate over 300 Israeli nationals via a special flight.

Accordingly, the airline will operate the service on Thursday from New Delhi's IGI Airport to Tel Aviv, Israel.

However, Air India's return flight will not carry any passengers back.

According to a senior Air India official, a Boeing 777-300 extended range aircraft will be pressed into service to carry out this operation.

Lately, the national carrier has been called upon to rescue Ind and people of other nationalities, who have been stranded around the globe, be it from the COVID-19's epicentre of Wuhan in China to Rome and Milan.
