Ajit Pawar, Deputy CM of Maharashtra on Saturday said that the leaders who joined BJP thought that they would be heard when BJP would come to power. Now they want to leave BJP because their works weren't done. Some leaders from Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad have wished to return. They will soon be welcomed.

Recently as many as 18 Congress corporators in the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation in Thane district joined the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

Congress and NCP are running a coalition government in Maharashtra led by Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray after 2019 Assembly polls.
