Manoj Jarange, a Maratha reservation activist, expressed condolences on the tragic death of Maharashtra's Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in the Baramati plane crash. The crash occurred while Ajit Pawar was traveling from Mumbai to Baramati for the ZP election campaign. Shocked by the news, Manoj Jarange stated, "I have received the sad news of Ajit Dada’s passing, and my heart cannot accept it. It is hard to believe that he has passed away so suddenly."

A leader like him may never come again. Ajit Pawar was a man of his word—if he said a task could be done, it would be done; if not, then not. His death has been a great loss for everyone. Nation will not get leader like him again ," Manoj Jarange added.

An airplane crash killed five people, including Maharashtra's deputy chief minister, Ajit Pawar, on January 28. Reacting to this, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that this is the most difficult day for Maharashtra. The most influential politician in the state was killed in an aircraft crash at Baramati in Pune District. He was 66 years old. Ajit Pawar was accompanied by his personal security guard, an attendant, and two crew members. The VT-SSK Learjet 45 crashed near the Runway 11 threshold during landing at Baramati Airport.
