Akola, Maharashtra (February 17, 2025): A violent clash broke out between two groups in Hatrun village of Balapur taluka on Monday, following a dispute over a minor issue. The incident escalated to stone-pelting and the torching of a four-wheeler.

According to reginal media reports, six people were injured in the violence. All individuals were admitted to the district hospital in Akola for treatment, and one reported to be in critical condition. Police have detained several individuals from both groups in connection with the incident.

A large police presence has been deployed in Hatrun village to maintain order and prevent further violence. The situation remains tense as authorities continue their investigation into the cause of the dispute.
