Ambernath: Three workers suffocate to death after falling in underground chemical tank

Three workers of a chemical company in ITI area of ​​Ambernath MIDC have died after suffocating in an underground tank. The bodies of these workers are being exhumed by the fire brigade. Three workers were called in to paint a huge chemical tank belonging to a chemical company at Ambernath Wadol village. 

But the contractor sent these workers to clean the chemical tank. These workers were not able to breath while working in the tank. After which they tried to get out of the tank but failed. Also, they did not get help in time. As a result, all three workers suffocated to death in the tank.

Chemical liquids were being stored in this tank. Despite this, the workers were brought down to work in the tank without using any safety equipment. Firefighters rushed to the spot and are trying to retrieve the bodies from the tank.
