Amravati, Maharashtra (January 15, 2025): A private bus traveling from Pune to Nagpur collided with a truck on the Samruddhi Highway near Dhamangaon in Amravati district early Wednesday. The crash killed the bus driver and left 16 passengers injured.

The accident occurred in the Mangrul Dastgir Police Station area near Ashta village. The bus was carrying about 30 passengers when it crashed into a speeding truck. The front of the bus was severely damaged, and the driver died on the spot.

Police, along with traffic police and an MSRDC rescue team, responded to the scene. The injured passengers were rushed to the Dhamangaon Rural Hospital, where they are receiving primary treatment.
