Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, has tweeted that Mumbai had lost its "humanity" and was "no more safe to live" looking at the way the metropolis police was handling the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

The tweet invited a backlash from Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab who claimed Amruta Fadnavis was criticising the same police force of which she is a protectee.

Five years in power, the Fadnavis government praised the police. Complimented the police. Stood firmly behind the police. But if they feel insecure just because they are no more in power, then leaving the state might be the only solution for them, 'said Parab, targeting Amrita Fadnavis.

"Has any citizen of Mumbai said that they are not feeling safe? What made Amrita Fadnavis feel unsafe? They are walking around today under the protection of the same police", said Parab. When Fadnavis government was in power for five years it is the same Mumbai Police. Changing the government does not mean changing the police. If they have no faith in the police under whose protection they have been for the last five years, they should leave the city.

Parab said, dirty politics is being played in the Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. It shows the pain of losing the chair.
