A suspended officer of Nashik's transport department has lodged a complaint against Maharashtra transport minister Anil Parab at the police station. Anil Parab himself has now clarified his position on these allegations.

"The complaint lodged by suspended Motor Vehicle Inspector Gajendra Patil against me and also against the Transport Commissioner and five other officers at Panchavati Police Station, Nashik is completely baseless and false," Anil Parab said.

The suspended officer has conspired to defame me and the Mahavikas Aghadi government by making false allegations in the wake of several complaints in the department. He has clarified the allegations against him on his Twitter account.

By accusing the ministers and pretending that the state government cannot do anything to these ministers, seeking a CBI inquiry through the high court and tarnishing the image of the government and the ministers, this is a politically motivated complaint, Parab said.

In Nashik, suspended RTO officer Gajendra Patil has lodged a complaint at the Panchavati police station against recovery done by transport department. Patil was working as a motor vehicle inspector in Nashik Transport Department. Taking serious note of Patil's complaint, Panchavati police has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Crime Branch to investigate the matter. Accordingly, Gajendra Patil is likely to be called for questioning.
