The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found a 'hammer' from a cupboard of Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) cabin of suspended Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vaze. Vaze has been arrested in connection with the case of an explosives-laden vehicle found near Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani's house and Mansukh Hiren death case.
Sachin Waze is currently in judicial custody. The NIA is investigating the Anitilia explosives-laden vehicle and Mansukh Hiren death case. The NIA is conducting raids at various places and collecting important documents and material as evidence. A hammer has also been found during the investigation. According to sources, a hammer was found in a cupboard in the CIU cabin of Sachin Vaze's Mumbai police headquarters.
When Sachin Waze was arrested, a note counting machine was also seized from him. The Anti-Corruption Bureau department had also launched an investigation against Sachin Vaze. The hammer found in the cupboard of Sachin Vaze's office is believed to have been used to destroy evidence in the Anitilia blast case.
During the investigation, several luxury vehicles were also seized from Sachin Waze. The numbers of these cars were also changed.
On February 25, a Scorpio car was found outside Mukesh Ambani's Anitilia bungalow. It was learned from the CCTV footage that the number of the vehicle was changed on the road. Sometimes a hammer is needed to replace the number plate with a new one. Did Sachin Waze use this hammer to change the number plate? This can be revealed from the chargesheet of NIA.
