Bhagwanrao Gore, Father of Maharashtra Minister Jaykumar Gore, Passes Away

Bhagwanrao Ramchandra Gore, father of Solapur Guardian Minister and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Minister Jaykumar Gore, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, February 25, after a prolonged illness. He had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Pune for the past few days and breathed his last during treatment.

Ramchandra Gore mortal remains will be kept at his residence in Boratwadi village in Maharashtra from 11 AM to 4 PM today for people to pay their last respects. The last rites will be performed at 4 PM in Boratwadi, Man District, Satara.

Minister Jaykumar Gore, son of Bhagwanrao Ramchandra Gore, confirmed his father's demise in a post on X (formerly Twitter). "My father, Bhagwanrao Ramchandra Gore, sadly passed away this morning after a long illness. He had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Pune for the past few days," Jaykumar Gore wrote.

Providing details about the last rites, he added, "He passed away during treatment. May Dada's soul rest in eternal peace—this is my prayer to God! A heartfelt tribute. The funeral will be held at 4 PM in Boratwadi, Taluka Man, District Satara."
