A massive fire broke out at a scrap warehouse in Kon village in Bhiwandi, causing extensive damage. The blaze reportedly started after nearby dry grass caught fire and quickly spread to the warehouse. As the flames intensified, two warehouses were completely destroyed in the incident. Large quantities of cloth and plastic materials stored inside were reduced to ashes, resulting in heavy losses. Firefighters managed to bring the situation under control after efforts to contain the fire. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Firefighters rushed to the spot with two fire engines, while the Thane Fire Department deployed a jumbo water tanker to assist in dousing the flames. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported, and the fire was eventually brought under control by the teams.
