80-year-old ex-BJP MLA from Mulund Sardar Tara Singh passed away today morning due to prolonged illness.

The information about the death of his colleague was shared by BJP leader Kirit Sommaiya on Twitter.

The leader took to Twitter and wrote, "My senior colleague, BJP leader Sardar Tarasing, after prolonged illnesses died at Lilavati Hospital today morning, Ishwar un ki Atma ko Shanti De Prarthana (sic)."

The political leader was corporator for 15 years and MLA for two decades from Mulund assembly constituency in Mumbai.
