After NCP chief Sharad Pawar publicy termed his grand-nephew Parth Pawar immature for seeking a CBI probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death there are speculations that Parth Pawar may join the BJP.

After Parth Pawar's comments on Ram Mandir and Sushant Singh Rajput death case it seems all is not well within the Sharad Pawar-led NCP and the Pawar-family.

Sharad Pawar's statement shocked political circles and it again fuelled speculation of cracks emerging within the state's leading political clan as Parth is the son of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

However the BJP has ended the speculations by saying Parth was not joining the party.

“Parth Pawar is not joining the BJP and we will not take him into our party,” said Pune BJP MP Girish Bapat at an Independence Day function.

In Kolhapur, Parth’s maternal aunt Vijaya Patil, said, “Parth is a sensitive young man but I am sure he will forget everything. After all, Sharad Pawar is his grandfather.”

After Parth was reprimanded by Sharad Pawar, neither Parth nor his father Ajit Pawar has made any public statements. Sharad Pawar too has not said anything.
