An important meeting of the BJP state executive was held today against the backdrop of ongoing political developments in the Maharashtra. The meeting was attended by around fourteen hundred activists from across the state. Due to the covid pandemic in the state, BJP workers from every district attended the state executive meeting online. In each district, members of the executive came together at the BJP district office and from there participate in the meeting online.

During the meeting a resolution was passed demanding CBI inquiry against Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar & Transport Miniser Anil Parab based on dismissed Police officer Sachin Vaze's letter in the lines of inquiry initiated after ex-Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh's letter.

Sachin Vaze, who is being probed by the NIA in the Antilia bomb scare, had written a letter to the NIA claiming that Maharashtra ministers Anil Deshmukh and Anil Parab asked him to illegitimately collect money for them.

Additionally, Sachin Vaze has also claimed that he had told then Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh about the extortion demands made by Anil Deshmukh and Anil Parab. Param Bir Singh reportedly told him to not act on the demands.
