Rohit Pawar, grandnephew of NCP chief Sharad Pawar has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for using Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput' death for campaigning in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar.

The BJP’s cultural cell has made car stickers with the message, “na bhule hai, na bhulne denge (we have not forgotten, we will not forget)”, a photograph of Rajput and the BJP’s symbol. The party has also made masks with his name written on it

Netizens have been criticized the BJP on social media. NCP MLA Rohit Pawar has also said that Sushant's case is being politicized.

Rohit Pawar took Twitter to slam BJP's move of giving the actor’s unfortunate death a “political colour” for electoral mileage. He said, "When all the countries are united for # Justice4SSR , it seems that bad politics is being done on this issue and as mentioned earlier, cctor’s unfortunate death has been given a “political colour” for upcoming Bihar elections. I hope that, people will no longer fall prey to this agenda of diverting attention from the basic issues of underdeveloped Bihar."

Rajput was found hanging at his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
