Maharashtra BJP MLA Ram Kadam on Saturday raised questions on Rhea Chakraborty’s visit to the Mumbai police after being interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Taking to Twitter, the BJP leader wrote,“After the CBI investigation, why was Rhea Chakraborty in Mumbai Police office? What is that connection between the Maharashtra Government and Rhea? Who is the Maharashtra government trying to save?” Ram Kadam tweeted in Marathi.

Rhea Chakraborty was grilled by the CBI on Friday for over ten hours, as part of the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe. Rhea's interaction with the CBI happened a day after the actress made a few startling revelations about Sushant in a television interview on Thursday evening.

The late actor's Netizens on Friday started questioning the actress on the claims made by her in the interview as well as in the recent past.

After leaving the DRDO guest house Rhea and her brother Showik, directly visited Santacruz Police Station and were later escorted by the Mumbai Police to their residence from there. Rhea had reached Mumbai's Santa Cruz police station to file a complaint about 'media hounding'.

Rhea Chakraborty in a Instagram post had asked for police protection after a crowd gathered inside her building compound.

Rhea shared a video of her father Indrajit Chakraborty entering the building premise when a huge crowd of people surround him immediately. She shared this video and wrote, "This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided."
