BJP state president Chandrakant Patil has taken an aggressive stance against Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. After the BJP executive committee meeting passed a resolution demanding CBI inquiry against Maharashtra deputy CM Ajit Pawar & Transport Miniser Anil Parab based on dismissed Police officer Sachin Vaze's letter in the lines of inquiry initiated after ex-Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh's letter.

Now Chandrakant Patil has written a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah. In a letter written by Chandrakant Patil, he has demanded a CBI inquiry into Ajit Pawar. Sachin Vaze's letter against Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Transport Minister Anil Parab contains serious allegations of money recovery. The case should be thoroughly investigated by the CBI. Chandrakant Patil has said in the letter that he is making this demand on behalf of one crore and ten lakh members of the state BJP.

'The deeds of the ministers in the Mahavikas Aghadi government are constantly being exposed. Instead of taking action accordingly after the corruption case in transfer of officers was exposed, the Mahavikas Aghadi government has started a shocking practice of putting the whistleblowers behind the bars. Similar to the allegations leveled against the Home Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Minister Anil Parab were also charged with recovery by suspended police officer Sachin Vaze.Anil Deshmukh is being questioned by the CBI on the basis of Parambir Singh's letter. Patil also demanded a CBI probe into Ajit Pawar and Anil Parab.

Earlier, the BJP had demanded a CBI probe against Ajit Pawar and now the BJP state president has written a letter directly to Amit Shah. Therefore, the BJP seems to be ready to fight against the NCP in the coming period. Before 2014, when BJP was in power, BJP had revolted against Ajit Pawar over irrigation scam.
