Maharashtra: MNS chief Raj Thackeray held a grand Melava on 30th of March on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. During this Melava Thackeray made many allegations on the ruling govt and their policies. Raj Thackeray raised the question and appealed to the CM Fadnavis that currently people are misled by raising old issues and Devendra Fadnavis has got the power of this civilized state with a large majority. He should run the state well. If he runs the state with us in his confidence, we will support him," he had said. Responding to Raj's appeal Chief Minister assured him that we will take everyone along and run the state. CM Fadnavis said, "We are trying to run the state well. While running the state, we are trying to take the help of everyone and take everyone into our confidence. I could not listen to Raj Thackeray's speech in its entirety yesterday. However, in the speech I heard, he raised some important issues. We will definitely think about these issues," said state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, expressing his position on MNS President Raj Thackeray's speech at the Gudi Padwa gathering. He was talking to reporters in Nagpur.

Meanwhile Raj Thackeray had also raised the issue of unauthorized horns at religious places yesterday. "Cases were registered against MNS workers after the horn movement at the mosque. The Uttar Pradesh government decided to remove the horns, but there are still horns in Maharashtra," Raj Thackeray had expressed his displeasure in these words. Speaking on this, Chief Minister Fadnavis said, "100 percent action will be taken against those horns that are outside the rules and the Maharashtra government will strictly follow the Supreme Court's instructions."

"ASI has a protected grave. Whether we like Aurangzeb or not, but the law has protected that grave for 50-60 years. Therefore, we are protecting that grave. But under no circumstances will Aurangzeb's grave be glorified in Maharashtra," the Chief Minister also expressed his opinion on this occasion.

Who will be Modi's successor?

There is talk in political circles that Devendra Fadnavis will be the successor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After journalists asked about this, the Chief Minister clarified that he is not in this race. "There is no reason to find a successor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will fight under his leadership. We are looking at him as the Prime Minister in 2029 as well. Therefore, it is not right to have such discussions now. In Indian culture, children are not thought of while the father is alive, nor should they be. Thinking like this is Mughal culture. Therefore, the time has not come yet to choose Modi's successor and as far as I am concerned, I have nothing to do with it," said Devendra Fadnavis.
