Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday addressed a Dussehrarally at Shivaji Park in Central Mumbai's Dadar.Thackeray advocated for a "mili-juli sarkar," invoking examples of governments led by figures like Manmohan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He lauded the concept of a strong government but clarified that this should not be solely representative of a single political entity wielding brute authority.

Thackeray issued a open challenge to Shinde govt saying, Conduct the elections (in Maharashtra) and the people of Maharashtra will tell you (Eknath Shinde) who is the real Shiv Sena. I challenge you to conduct election in Maharashtra said Uddhav.Warning his rivals, Thackeray said, “After we come to power, we will hang upside down those who are harassing us.” Shiv Sena founder late Bal Thackeray had started the tradition of holding his party’s Dussehra rally at the Shivaji Park.
