A vaccination drive is underway to curb the spread of covid in Mumbai. Citizens above 18 years of age are being vaccinated under this drive. A third wave of corona is expected, with young children at greater risk. In that connection, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has considered to vaccinate children in the age group of 12 to 18 years. Against this background, a 'trial' of vaccination will be conducted. For this, the municipality has prepared the entire necessary system. A letter has also sent to the central government for permission in this regard.

Additional Commissioner Suresh Kakani also informed that the proposal has not been approved yet. Experts have predicted a third wave of corona.
