A case has been registered by the Lonikand police against one for circulating defamatory content on social media about Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In this regard, Sandeep Satav, general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha district organization, has filed a complaint at Lonikand police station. In this regard, a case has been registered against Anil Harpale Patil under the Information Technology Act as well as for spreading defamatory content.

Defamatory content about Devendra Fadnavis was circulated on social media from the account of Anil Harpale Patil. Sandeep Satav, the office bearer of Yuva Marcha in Wagholi area on Nagar Road, came to the notice of this incident and he registered a complaint. The investigation is being conducted under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Gajanan Pawar.

The accused had created a meme using the photo of Devendra Fadnavis, it contained offensive content. A case has been registered in Lonikand Police station. Further investigation in this case is being conducted by assistant sub-inspector Suraj Gore under the guidance of senior police inspector Gajanan Pawar of Lonikand police station.
