The escalating dengue epidemic in Nagpur has instilled a sense of apprehension among citizens, as an average of four dengue cases are being reported daily. The surge in cases within government medical facilities has raised concerns. Over the past 15 days, 59 confirmed dengue cases and 1,245 suspected cases have been documented. The health department is urging individuals to exercise caution.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is also grappling with a similar dengue outbreak. In the past two weeks, 59 suspected cases and 12 positive cases have emerged in the city. Many patients are seeking treatment in private hospitals. The region has experienced relatively low rainfall since the beginning of the monsoon season.
