The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh's residence in Nagpur and Mumbai, in connection with an alleged money laundering case, said an official on Friday. The search operation went on till three hours. The move is likely to heat up politics in the state once again. NCP's Dilip Walse Patil, Jayant Patil and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut have reacted after the ED's raid on Deshmukh's house. But now NCP president Sharad Pawar has also commented on this action.

NCP leader Sharad Pawar visited the new office of NCP in Pune. Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil and MP Vandana Chavan were present during the meeting. After the meeting, Pawar spoke to reporters. This time he also commented on various issues. Pawar said this was not the first time Anil Deshmukh had been targeted in this manner. These things are not new to all NCP leaders. Also, we are facing these actions, but I do not think that the ED has much to do with this raid. But the rulers of the country are working in such a way to harass the leaders who are taking a stand against them through institutions like ED and CBI which has never been seen before.
