Maharahtra Opposition Leader Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday has made a shocking revealition regarding the transfer posting racket of IPS and non-IPS officers of Maharashtra Police.

BJP leader, Devendra Fadnavis has sought time from Union Home Secretary to meet him and hand him over 6.3 GB of data of call recordings & some documents pertaining to alleged transfer posting racket of IPS and non-IPS officers of Maharashtra Police.

Further the BJP leader said, Commissioner of Intelligence sent a report of intercepted calls suspicious to be involved in transfer racket to DG Maharashtra in Aug '20. It was forwarded to CM later & he expressed concern but no action was taken. I have data of 6.3 GB containing all information. He was speaking at a press conference in Mumbai.

Fadnavis also lashed out at the state Home Minister and Chief Minister over the chaos in the police force. Rashmi Shukla, the then commissioner of intelligence, had received information that there was a huge racket of transfers in the police force and that several officers were also involved.

Taking action accordingly, many strong evidences were collected and a detailed report was sent to the Chief Minister along with the Director General of Police and the Home Minister. But why the Chief Minister has not taken any action on it yet? ", questioned Devendra Fadnavis.
