BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Friday reacted to an incident in Mumbai where a Shiv Sena worker asked the owner of a sweet shop to drop the word `Karachi'' from the shop''s name because it is a Pakistani city, Fadnavis said, "We believe in `Akhand Bharat'' (undivided India) and we believe that one day Karachi will be part of India."

A video had surfaced online that has now gone viral where Shiv Sena leader Nitin Nandgaokar was allegedly seen asking Karachi Sweets shop owner in Bandra West to change the name 'Karachi'.

In the video he can be seen saying,"You have to do it, we're giving you time. Change 'Karachi' to something in Marathi." In the video, the owner of Karachi Sweets is heard telling Nandgaonkar that his family had migrated from Karachi. Nandgaonkar responds, "It does not matter whether you are Hindu or Muslim. In Mumbai, you cannot use the word 'Karachi'... The word 'Karachi' causes us difficulty," and refers to the sacrifices of Indian Army soldiers and Pakistan being a sponsor of terrorism.

Earlier Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had clarified that,"Karachi bakery & Karachi sweets have been in Mumbai since last 60 years. They have nothing to do with Pakistan. It makes no sense to ask for changing their names now. Demand for changing their name is not Shiv Sena's official stance, tweets "
