A massive fire broke out at Shivaji Market in Pune's camp area around 4 am on Tuesday. Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and firefighting operations are underway at the site.

According to local authorities, no casualties have been reported so far in the incident. The market has meat and chicken shops. The fire broke out in a shop in the market around 4 am today.

After which fire brigade was informed and they rushed to the spot. Twenty-five shops in the market have been gutted in the blaze. Unfortunately, the hens and goats in the shop have died in the fire.

Eight fire trucks arrived at the scene to put out the blaze.

After an hour of relentless efforts, the fire brigade managed to bring the fire under control.

However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
