Police officer Sachin Vaze has been arrested by the NIA in connection with the discovery of a car packed with explosives outside the house of renowned industrialist Mukesh Ambani. The NIA suspects that Sachin Vaze was behind placing the explosive-laden vehicle, which is being investigated by NIA officials, but the incident has embarrassed the Thackeray government. Similarly, many question marks have been raised on the Mumbai Police Force.
Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has commented on the whole issue while he came to attend the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year award ceremony.
