The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in some parts of Maharashtra in the next few hours. Sangli, Pune, Beed and Solapur districts are likely to receive heavy rains in the next three hours.

It is also likely to rain with thunderstorms at various places in the state in the next five days. It has already started raining on the Konkan coast of the state. After that, heavy rains are expected in the next five days. Meteorologist KS Hosalikar also tweeted about it.

Heavy rains are expected in some districts in three hours with thunderstorms. Wind speed will be 30 to 40 kmph. Rain is expected in Sangli, Pune, Beed and Solapur in the next three hours. So be careful when you go out of the house, do not stand under a tall tree, appealed K.S. Hosalikar.

Meanwhile, Hingoli district received heavy rains with strong winds in the afternoon. This has caused huge losses to many farmers. Wasmat, Aundha, Kalamanuri talukas have received heavy pre-monsoon rains.
