The Income Tax department has raided two offices of Zee group in Mumbai. The office is located at Lower Parel. A team of six income tax officials reached the office at around 11 am today. More details are awaited.

Another team of income tax officials has raided the head office in Worli area. Information about these raids is likely to be received from Delhi shortly. It is also said that a search operation will be conducted by the Income Tax Department at 15 places of Zee Group on the charge of evading income tax.

The company says it is co-operating with the IT department.
