Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh was granted interim relief by the Bombay High Court during the last hearing in the atrocity case. The state government was instructed not to arrest him till June 9. Today again, the state government has testified that the Mumbai High Court will not make any arrests or take any stern action in the atrocity case till June 15. In an earlier hearing, the state government had requested in the Bombay High Court that ingh should fully co-operated with in the probe. Bhimrao Ghadge was caught by Parambir Singh in a fake encounter case. Ghadge was asked by Parambir Singh to save some builders from crime. But Ghadge had rejected Parambir Singh, saying he could not save the builders as there was strong evidence against them. Since Ghadge was not listening to him, Parambir Singh had hatched a conspiracy against him. Ghadge was was falsely accused in a fake encounter. The case was later investigated and Bhimrao Ghadge was acquitted by the court.

Ghadge was falsely accused by the then Thane Police Commissioner Parambir Singh for filing charges against six persons close to him. Not only that, Ghadge and his wife were kept in an Anda cell at the Taloja jail in Navi Mumbai, just like notorious criminal or a terrorist. Ghadge and his wife spent a year and two months in the anda cell while there was no crime.
