The Union Minister in her complaint said that the incident took place during the Sant Muktai Yatra at the Kothali village on Friday night (March 28). Seven individuals were named in the FIR registered at the Muktainagar police station.

The accused belongs to the same village where the incident occurred and was familiar with the minister’s daughter from before. The minister’s bodyguard, who identified the perpetrators, accused them of grabbing his collar and threatening him during the incident.
