The results of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) were declared on Monday night. In the examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), six students have secured 100 percentile score.

Mumbai's Siddhant Mukherjee has also secured 100 percentile score. Siddhant, who lives in Andheri, Mumbai, studied at  Allen institute in Kota for the last two years. "I came here in 2019 to fulfill my dream to be an IITian one day, he said. He came to Kota when he was a student of class 11. "This city has given the maximum number of toppers," he added.

He said that his goal is to bring good marks in JEE Advance without being overwhelmed by this success. Siddhant's father Sandeep Mukherjee is a risk management consultant and his mother Navneeta Mukherjee works in a bank.

Many students dropped out of the JEE Main Examination in 2021 due to travel reasons, but he did not face any such problem, he said, adding that the security arrangements at the center were adequate. He wants to get admission in Computer Science branch of IIT Mumbai with good marks in JEE Advance.
