Two youngsters and a young woman were beaten by a mob at a Kolsewadi in Kalyan East of Thane district on Friday night. While the young woman was traveling in a rickshaw, the rickshaw driver started teasing her. After which she called two of her male friends and narrated the incident. The young woman, along with her two friends who reached out to help her, were beaten by the rickshaw driver and some villagers.
The two youngsters have been identified as Rahul Gadekar and Bunty Pradhan. They both live in Ulhasnagar. Theyoung woman was traveling in a rickshaw in the middle of the night when the driver started harassing her. She told her friends over the phone. The two friends then reached the spot. However, when they reached the spot, the rickshaw driver along with some villagers thrashed woman and two youngsters.
The mob thrashed the three with belts. Some videos have also surfaced in this regard.
