A major tragedy was narrowly averted in Kalyan West after a moving car suddenly caught fire on the busy Birla College Road. The dramatic incident sent shockwaves through the locality, creating a brief period of panic among commuters and locals.

The incident occurred while the vehicle was traveling from MumbaitowardsMurbad. According to reports, the car was in motion when it unexpectedly burst into flames. In a fortunate turn of events, the driver remained alert and managed to exit the vehicle immediately, saving their own life before the fire could spread.

 

The local fire brigade was alerted and rushed to the spot. Although they successfully extinguished the blaze, the intensity of the fire was such that the vehicle was completely burnt and reduced to ashes by the time the flames were doused.

 The sight of the blazing car on a main road created an atmosphere of fear and panic in the surrounding area. However, authorities have confirmed that there was nolossof life or injury in the accident.
