Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been in the news over the past weeks for her controversial comments for calling Mumbai Police a sham and comparing the city with Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

Ranaut's bitter war of words with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut began after her remarks that she feels unsafe in Mumbai and has no trust in the Mumbai Police after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Besides this, Kangana's office in Pali Hill, Bandra was partially demolished on September 9 by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

In an interview to an Times Now, Ranaut said,"I voted for Shiv Sena though I support BJP. But I was ‘forced’ to vote due to their alliance."

What did actually Kangana say in the interview?

'When I went to vote in Bandra, I was in front of the voting machine, I am a BJP supporter and I was wondering where is the BJP's button. Then I had to press the Shiv Sena button. I said I want to vote for the BJP. I do not understand politicsneither do I have any experience in this. I don't know why this alliance happened, but it happened. I was forced to press the Shiv Sena button.

What is the actual truth ?

India Today reporter Kamlesh Sutar did a  'fact-checking' on her claims made in the interview and said,"I see some factual error here. Kangana says she was forcd to vote for Shiv Sena. As per CEO Maharashtra data, Kangana is a voter of Bandra west seat. Ashish Shelar of BJP was Sena-BJP candidate here in 2019. In Loksabha again Poonam Mahajan of the BJP fought n won."

In another tweet he wrote,"If she says she is talking about 2014, then again BJP-Sena fought together in Loksabha with BJP contesting the seat in Assembly elections She had an option of voting for BJP as both the parties fought separately. And Yes they fought 2017 BMC elections separately as well!"

The fact checking by Sutar did not go down well with Kangana and responded by threatening him,"You are wrong don’t spread misinformation I will send you a legal notice you will have to prove this in court, this trolling will cost you a lot you will end up in jail for your naughty lies," she tweeted.

"Group of hyenas alreday salivating. I voted with my family and staff they all agree with me we had to reluctantly vote for Shiv Sena, getting details and suppose it is some confusion which we arnt aware of, does not make me a liar. Vultures getting excited for no reason...," Kangana added.

Later with the facts in place and netizens trolling the actress for her fake claims, Kangana Ranaut deleted the tweets.
