Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation carried out demolition drive on "illegal alterations" at Kangana Ranaut's office in Bandra.

Ranaut has been engaged in a bitter war of words with Shiv Sena after her remarks that she feels unsafe in Mumbai and has no trust in the Mumbai Police after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Ranaut also slammed Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in a video she said: "Udhhav Thackeray, do you think that you along with the film mafia broke my house and took big revenge? Today my home is broken, tomorrow your ego will be broken. This is the wheel of time. Remember this. It doesn't always remain the same."

Ranaut visited her office in Bandra on 10th September, a day after the BMC officials carried a partial demolition of the premises.

She said,"I had my office opening on 15th Jan, shortly after corona hit us, like most of us I haven’t worked ever since, don’t have money to renovate it, I will work from those ruins keep that office ravaged as a symbol of a woman’s will that dared to rise in this world #KanganaVsUddhav."
