Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has been served a ‘stop work’ notice by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).Under section 354/A of the of Municipal Corporation Act, BMC officials pasted a three-page notice on the actress’ office gate.

This comes a day after BMC officials raided her office – Manikarnika Films – to inspect the space. Kangana Ranaut on Monday in a series of tweets has alleged that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials have “taken over” her office space – her production house Manikarnika Films; in Mumbai and will demolish the structure tomorrow.

The actor took twitter to share about the notice served to her by the civic body,"Because of the criticism that @mybmc received from my friends on social media, they didn’t come with a bulldozer today instead stuck a notice to stop leakage work that is going on in the office, friends I may have risked a lot but I find immense love and support from you all." Parag Masurkar, deputy municipal commissioner, said that a team of officials visited Ranaut's office as it was a part of regular exercise in order to keep a tab on illegal construction works. Further the official said the team also inspected other row houses in the area.

Actress Kangana Ranaut has her own production house 'Manikarnika Films'. Her production house is located in Pali Hill in Mumbai and it is something that Kangana has dreamt of for ten years.

According to sources, the total landing cost of this dream studio is approximately 48cr along with reconstruction and rebuilding the place from scratch.
