Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kirit Somaiya has accused the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government of committing a food scam worth Rs 100 crores. Somaiya claimed that the rates of food packets being given in various quarantine centres differ from each other

Somaiya took to twitter and wrote that for food and tea, which is being given to quarantine centre inmates twice a day, different contractors have been given the job. 

He wrote,"'Corona ka Commission'. Contractor supplies Food Packets for Nasta Lunch Dinner to Quarantine Center Patients.Contracts awarded @ ₹172/day at Eastern Suburbs ₹ 372/day Dadar ₹350 Andheri ₹415 Thane for same meals. Hundreds Crores Scam of Thackeray Sarkar.""
