Ladki Bahin Yojana e-KYC Deadline: Last Date to Complete e-KYC Process Extended

Maharashtra Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare on Friday, February 7, announced that the deadline for filling up eKYC has been extended for women beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Scheme after several women reported facing difficulties in completing the process.

Earlier, the deadline for completing the eKYC process was December 31, 2025. Maharashtra Minister said after several complaints received from women beneficiaries that they had selected the wrong option during the process, which had led to difficulties in getting Lthe adki Bahin Yojana monthly instalment of Rs 1,500.

"Especially for those eligible beneficiaries who have completed e-KYC but have not yet received the scheme's benefits, all such sisters are being given another opportunity to correct their e-KYC information," said Aditi Tatkare in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

To get the benefits of the monetary scheme to eligible women beneficiaries, the Maharashtra government has extended the deadline to correct make corrections in eKYC until March 31, 2026.

"It is the sincere stance of the Women and Child Development Department that all eligible beneficiaries should receive the benefits of this scheme. Therefore, this is a humble request to those beloved sisters whose e-KYC process has any errors to get them corrected well in advance of the deadline," wrote Tatkare.

When Will Beneficiaries Receive January 2026 Instalment?

Eligible women are concerned about when they receive the January 2026 instalment of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana Scheme, as the first week of February is about to end. The December 2025 instalment was transferred on January 14. While it is predicted that the pending instalment of Rs 15,00 of January is likely to be given after the Zilla Parishad election results, which are scheduled on February 9.
