The lockdown in Maharashtra has been extended till 31st October with further relaxations outside containment zones. The state government laid out a set of guidelines including relaxations for people.As already declared by the state earlier, hotels, food, restaurants and bars will be allowed to operate from 5 October with capacity not exceeding 50% of the total staff. Separate SOP shall be shared by the Tourism department for the necessary precautions that the establishments need to undertake.

All intra-state trains in the state will be allowed to resume with immediate effect subject to protocols regarding Covid-19, the government added. Dabbawallas can travel in Mumbai Local Trains. Local train services to resume in Pune. Railway authorities to increase frequency of trains in MMR However, metro services in the state will remain un-operative during this phase of lockdown. Cinema halls, schools to remain closed even when the Centre announces new unlock 5 guidelines, the state government said.
