The state government is considering a proposal to upgrade 419 government industrial training institutes in the state in collaboration with Tata Technology and associate entrepreneurs and to set up six high-end centers and three agricultural 'centers of excellence'. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar with a view to increase employment and develop skilled manpower in the state. The meeting was attended by NCP's chief and MP Sharad Pawar.

Sharad Pawar shared a photo of the meeting and gave information in this regard. The meeting was attended by several dignitaries including Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte and Minister Nawab Malik.

In ITI, children need to be trained to keep pace with the times as well as the needs of new industries. In collaboration with Tata Technology and other corporate entities, 419 government ITIs and 53 technical schools in the state will be modernized.
