Maharashtra, Sangli (March 20, 2025): A six-year-old girl died on Tuesday after being attacked by a stray dog in Malinagar, Kadegaon. The victim, identified as Pranjali Rahul Mali, was bitten on the neck and throat.

According to reports, Pranjali’s father, Rahul Mali, lives with his family in Malinagar. On Friday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., Pranjali left home with her elder sister to visit a friend’s house nearby. A stray dog attacked her from behind, biting her neck and throat. She collapsed on the ground.

Hearing her screams, her father, who was working in a nearby field, rushed to the spot. By the time he arrived, she was seriously injured. Family members immediately took her to Kadegaon Rural Hospital for treatment. She was later transferred to Krishna Hospital in Karad and then to Satara Civil Hospital for further care.
