Fifteen people were seriously injured when a speeding truck crashed into a minibus carrying pilgrims returning from the Kumbh Mela. The accident occurred on the Nagpur-Yavatmal road near Nagthana.

According to reports, the pilgrims, residents of Husanabad in Karnataka, had traveled to Prayagraj for the Kumbh Mela on February 18. After taking a holy dip and visiting Ayodhya on February 23, they were on their way back when the collision took place. The minibus, driven by Vilasrao, was heading toward Yavatmal when the truck struck it head-on. Police in Ramnagar registered a case against the truck driver.

The crash took place on a stretch of road where an overpass is under construction, leading to frequent traffic congestion. Locals rushed to the scene and helped transport the injured to the hospital. The minibus was severely damaged, bringing traffic to a standstill for some time.
