There is no question that artificial or fake paneer poses a health risk to the general population. Vendors and any parties engaged in the selling of such paneer will face severe consequences. Relevant authorities, representatives of the public, and subject-matter specialists will gather to talk about selling fake paneer under the moniker "analogue cheese." In response to a calling-attention notice, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar warned today in the Legislative Assembly that strict measures would be taken against individuals who sell this fake paneer based on the choices made in this meeting.

Concerns had been voiced by MLA Vikram Pachpute about the trading of "analogue cheese" marketed as "analogue paneer," "artificial paneer," or "fake paneer." Kailas Patil, a member, also took part in the conversation about this notice.

The Deputy Chief Minister responded to the notice by saying that food product samples are gathered to identify adulteration. In labs, these samples are inspected and evaluated. The appropriate steps are taken to stop tainted products from being distributed to the general public if adulteration is discovered in any sample. Significant funding will be provided to the Food and Drug Administration to build new labs and renovate current ones to support this endeavour.

The current laws governing the sale, transportation, and storage of fake paneer will also be changed to make them stricter. To request changes to central government regulations, discussions will also be made with the relevant Union Ministers. Deputy Chief Minister Pawar made it abundantly evident that anyone caught peddling fake paneer will face harsh consequences.
