Tehsildar Rakesh Gidde from Kej taluka in Beed district tragically lost his life in a severe car accident that occurred around 5 am on Thursday near the Renapur Phata on the Latur–Ambajogai highway. The untimely demise of a young and dedicated revenue officer has left the entire Beed district in deep sorrow. Gidde was travelling alone in his car when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal mishap. His sudden passing has shocked colleagues and residents alike, who remembered him as a sincere and hardworking official committed to public service.
According to preliminary information provided by Renapur police, Gidde was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident. The incident took place in the early hours when the car was moving at high speed, and it suddenly went out of control, veering off the road before overturning. The impact of the crash was extremely severe, resulting in his death on the spot. Local residents rushed to the scene after hearing the loud noise, but unfortunately, he had already succumbed to his injuries before any help could arrive.
Following the incident, police officials reached the accident site and shifted the body to the rural hospital in Renapur for post-mortem examination. Since taking charge as the Tehsildar of Kej, Rakesh Gidde had implemented several important decisions and worked actively towards public welfare initiatives. His demise is being seen as a significant loss to the revenue department, with many expressing grief over losing a knowledgeable and committed officer.
