Maharashtra Budget 2025: A major update has emerged regarding Maharashtra’s budget session. The first budget session of the Devendra Fadnavis government will begin on March 3. Finance Minister Ajit Pawar will present the Mahayuti government’s first budget on March 10. The state is eagerly waiting to see what announcements the government will make.

After the Mahayuti government was formed, the winter session was held in Nagpur. It was the first session under the Fadnavis administration. Now, the first budget session of the coalition government will take place. Ajit Pawar will present the budget, outlining the government’s new schemes and planned expenditures for the upcoming financial year.

Will ‘Ladki Bahin’ Beneficiaries Get Good News?

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s government launched the ‘Mazi Ladki Bahin’ scheme in July last year. Under this scheme, eligible women receive ₹1,500 per month. Before the assembly elections, the Mahayuti alliance had promised to increase the amount to ₹2,100 if it came to power. After securing a strong majority, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had assured that provisions for this increase would be made in the budget. There is now speculation that the upcoming budget may bring good news for the scheme’s beneficiaries.
