After the Union Cabinet reshuffle and expansion, there is a strong possibility that some ministers will be dropped with the expansion of the cabinet in the state as well. Congress is likely to get such a proposal from Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Two days ago, Congress Maharashtra in-charge Mallikarjun Kharge and H. K. Patil had come to Mumbai. It is understood that this decision was made in that meeting.

A senior Congress minister said that the Congress leaders have taken stock of the working of all the cabinet ministers. This will be reviewed and two ministers who do not work or performed poorly will be dropped. The Congress has also proposed to remove the accounts of two of its ministers.

These ministers said that some ministers were nowhere to be seen during the Corona period. A list has been prepared of the ministers who will be dropped. Now it all depends on the availability of the Chief Minister and the Governor.

Importantly, sources said that one of the two ministers is from Mumbai and the other is from Vidarbha.

In the Thackeray government's cabinet expansion, Congress state president Nana Patole is likely to be given the post of state president and ministerial post. Also, Kharge, Patil and Balasaheb Thorat had recently met NCP president Sharad Pawar.

The name of the Speaker of the Assembly is fixed

According to a senior leader, two to three ministers will be replaced in the cabinet. The name for the post of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly has been decided. For this, the party in-charge Patil, Balasaheb Thorat, Construction Minister Ashok Chavan will meet Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
